North Beach

Sea Wolf’s oysters, sausages, vegan dishes, cocktails, and weekend brunch make it the more eclectic north-island table; seating is first-come. North Beach Bar and Grill is the direct post-lighthouse option for local seafood, Caribbean-influenced dishes, and familiar American plates.

Bubba Gumbo’s or The Crab Shack by Lazaretto Creek

Bubba Gumbo’s is the smaller dockside Southern-seafood stop for shrimp, fish, and marina views. The Crab Shack is the larger family outing, with outdoor seating, seafood platters, and its well-known gator lagoon. Both require leaving the South Beach pier blocks for the Lazaretto Creek side of the island.

This is the shrimp-and-fish choice beside Lazaretto Creek, removed from the South Beach crowd. The smaller dockside setting makes it distinct from The Crab Shack’s larger family attraction and from North Beach’s post-lighthouse restaurants.

Reserve Sundae Cafe before the Sunday closure

Sundae Cafe is the clearest reservation-led dinner in this group and sits in Tybee’s interior rather than on a beach or dock. It takes reservations Monday through Saturday and closes Sunday, so it belongs on Saturday rather than the final morning.
